23 September 2026 · Bucharest runs again — the organiser's press release
Over 12,500 runners from 50 countries, registration open until 6 October, kit pickup in Piața Constituției from Thursday, 8 October, and 13 causes supported — Humanimals is one of them. Read the press release (in Romanian) or join the team.

September 2026 · We launched the new humanimals.ro website
The association's website was rebuilt from scratch: faster, clearer, with secure online donations. At the same time we launched the interactive land map, where every donated square metre appears on the map with the name chosen by the donor, and animated cats and dogs nap contentedly on the adopted plots.

September 2026 · The Humanimals team runs the Bucharest Marathon
We signed up our own team for the Raiffeisen Bank Bucharest Marathon 2026 (10–11 October). We run for stray animals — and anyone can join us, in any race. Details and the sign-up form. Event details at bucharest-marathon.com, where our team also has its own page.

August 2026 · The first square metre adopted on the land map
The "Support a square metre of land" campaign has its first named plot: Frida. We're raising funds to purchase the 10,000 sqm plot where we'll build the cat sanctuary and, later on, the pet-food factory for shelters.

2026 · The sponsorship contract is available online for companies
Companies can download and auto-fill the sponsorship contract, reviewed by a lawyer, including the version for redirecting 20% of corporate income tax through Form 177.

2026 · The PetOne24 adoption portal is live
The PetOne24 network — the free app for shelters, built by Humanimals — publishes animals available for adoption on the shared portal adopta.petone24.ro.

April 2025 · Registered in the registry of tax-deductible entities
Sponsorships to Humanimals are tax-deductible: the association is listed in the registry of entities/units for which tax deductions are granted (INTERNT-889183973-2025, dated 22.04.2025).

February 2025 · Asociația Humanimals was founded
We officially started: the association was registered with the Registry of Associations and Foundations (no. 2/06.02.2025), with the mission of providing sustainable solutions for the care and integration of stray animals.
