One integrated project for animal welfare
We are building a complex for stray animals, in stages. The first stage is the one where a contribution shows up directly: the land, the cat sanctuary, and the start of the food factory.

First we are raising the money to buy the ten thousand square metres. On that land we build the cat sanctuary, with about 300 places in its first part. Then we extend, and start building the food factory.

Buying the ten thousand square metres
The base of the whole complex. Without land, nothing that follows can start, so the first money raised goes here.
The cat sanctuary
The first unit we can make operational: about 300 places on 3,000 sqm, with quarantine areas, special care, socialisation, medical and behavioural assessment.
The food factory
Our own production, which cuts our dependence on donations and becomes direct support for shelters across the country.
Groundwork for the next stages
The infrastructure that makes extension possible: utilities, internal roads, technical spaces.

Romania has a structural problem in animal welfare. The existing resources are not enough, and food is not an occasional need: it is a daily obligation for every animal in a shelter.

The food problem
Without a steady, affordable source of food, many shelters live in permanent crisis mode.
No shared infrastructure
Romania has no organisation that produces and distributes food for animal shelters in an organised way. Every organisation works alone, with no economies of scale.
The Humanimals project
What we build, in order
Two things now, one after the first two work. We do not promise the third stage before the first one exists.
The cat sanctuary
About 300 places on 3,000 sqm: quarantine, special care, socialisation, medical and behavioural assessment.
The food factory
Our own production unit for dry and wet food, treats and supplements. The main purpose: food at low cost or free for animal shelters across Romania.
The dog shelter
On the same land, after the cat sanctuary and after the factory starts. We begin it when the first two are running, not before.
Who gets the food
The factory supports shelters that do the work properly
The food we produce goes, at low cost or free, to shelters in the network. Not at random: to the ones that use PetOne24 and meet the conditions of comfort, safety, hygiene and record-keeping required by law and by us, for the welfare of the animals.
The platform is not a formality. Through it we see the real headcount, the medical file of every animal and how the records are kept. That is how we know where the food ends up, and how we can answer for every kilogram.

A safe place for cats until they are adopted.

Running together at the Bucharest Marathon
A company runs for animals without a home.

The immediate projects follow the same rules as the Phase 1 partnerships: a sponsorship contract, an impact report and public acknowledgement of the contribution, scaled to the size of each project.

A partnership, not a passive donation
With every partner we agree a clear reporting rhythm: monthly, quarterly or yearly, depending on the level of the sponsorship and on what the company needs to communicate.
The packages run from in-kind partner up to Platinum and can be adjusted to the industry and the objectives of the company. The levels and the activations are on the page for companies.
