Adoption saves two lives. Choose to adopt, not to buy: at Humanimals, every dog or cat has the potential to change a life. Sometimes, even yours.
Five steps to home
1. You fill in the form
Tell us what your home is like, your schedule, and what kind of animal suits you.
2. We talk on the phone
We get to know each other, answer your questions and recommend the right animals.
3. You meet
You meet where the animal currently lives and spend time together. Sometimes the "click" happens with a different animal than the one you first chose.
4. We sign the adoption contract
You get the health record, the medical history and all the care information.
5. We stay in touch
We call you after the adoption and stay available for advice. If difficulties come up, we work through them together.
What you get with the animal
- free medical support before you leave: vaccinations, sterilisation, microchip, check-ups
- an animal that is socialised, behaviourally assessed and ready for adoption
- health record and complete medical history
- pre- and post-adoption counselling, so the integration goes smoothly
Adoption conditions
- you are over 18 and have the agreement of everyone in the household
- you have a space suited to the animal you choose
- you accept a follow-up visit or call after the adoption
- you commit to never abandoning the animal: if you can no longer keep it, you bring it back to us
Available animals are on PetOne24
Our animals looking for a family are listed on the PetOne24 adoption portal: the platform we built and give free of charge to shelters across the country.
Every animal has its own profile: photos, story, species, size, age and the shelter caring for it. The adoption request is sent straight from the animal's page and reaches us directly.

Tell us your name, phone number and e-mail, roughly what kind of animal you're thinking of (or "not decided yet"), and a little about your home and household — daily schedule, other pets, children, any previous experience.
About adoption
Adoption is free. A donation for the other animals in our care is welcome, but never required.
Yes. What matters is your schedule and how well it fits the animal's temperament, not the type of home.
You call us. The first weeks can be hard, and most of the time a few adjustments solve it. We don't leave you on your own.
Yes, and it's a huge help. We cover the food and medical costs; you provide a temporary home until the adoption happens.
