Diana and George are running 21 km for stray animals
They're part of the Humanimals team at the Raiffeisen Bank Bucharest Marathon 2026, running the half marathon on Sunday, 11 October — dedicated to all stray animals.
Why they're running for Humanimals
"We are Diana and George, and we're dedicating this half marathon to all stray animals, as well as to the good people at Humanimals who take care of their adoption!
Throughout our lives we've cared for countless animals, including dogs, cats, pigeons, seagulls, hedgehogs, pheasants. Adopting stray animals remains the best and most humane way to have a pet by your side in life, and to fight the cruelty of abandonment and the lack of sterilisation!
We couldn't imagine our life without our 4 little angels, all adopted from the cold streets of Romania. We want to raise funds so that the fate of these souls can be changed, and their boundless love given to those who give them a chance!"

The four little angels adopted from the street
Two dogs and two cats, all rescued from the streets of Romania — the reason they're running 21 km in October.
Donate for Diana and George's run
Every donation goes to Humanimals projects for stray animals — the cat sanctuary and the pet food factory for shelters.
